The impact of Information Technology is widespread and far reaching; the use is at varied levels at various geographies and societies. Governments are no exception. Though they are the ones mostly deciding on rules and policies of technology development and usage, Government themselves have been significantly affected by the demand and use of Technology. As they are challenged by the diversity, scale, urgency and constraints, in fact Governments, whatever is their level-Central/State/Federal/Local, are more in need of better information management.
