It seems like intended is not the right term, although sailing can be learned by everyone. Children as early as eight years old can learn how to operate a recreational boat. However, sailing will only be intended for a person if and only if that person enjoys what he/she is doing. Sailing doesn’t choose age, nationality or even gender.
How About the Costs and Expenses?
If you are into sailing, you have two options: you can rent a boat, or purchase your own. If you have a little more budget, it is suitable that you invest on your own boat. On the other hand, if you think that you cannot afford a recreational boat as of yet, there are clubs that you can apply for membership and get to use different amenities. If you are going to sail only a few days every year you can also search for yacht charters.
