One of the most common styles of wine is white wine. The liquid is not white but clear in appearance. The flavors, aromas and textures of the white wine depend on the name, type of grape harvest and wine-making style of the winemaker. Another common style of wine is red wine. Just as white wine, red wine is made from fermented grape juice. However, the presence of grape skin makes red wine color. This is done through a process called maceration. In this process the skin will be left in the contact with grape juice in the fermentation.

Blush wine is wine, commonly known as pink wine. Blush wine is produced by removing the skins of the grapes in the middle of fermentation. You can also use the mixture of red wines as well as white wines. Finally, the blush wines could be made by the concentration of the liquid removed during the fermentation process. Table wine is another style of wine. It is a wine that is served during the meals. According to their color, table wines are classified as white, red or pink. The alcohol content in table wines is very low, not exceeding 14% in the USA. In Europe, table wine is considered a light wine and considered cheap. In fact, the label of a table wine does not include information about which variety of grape was used or in which region it was produced.

Another style of wine is sparkling wine. Sparkling wines, especially champagne, have carbon dioxide that is produced naturally by the fermentation or the force of injection. This results in a fizzy drink, bubbling. Sparkling wines are usually fermented twice, first time in a container open to allow the carbon dioxide to escape to the atmosphere. Then it is again fermented in an airtight container so that the gas remains in the wine.

Dessert wines are another style of wine. Such wines are sweet and can usually consume after a meal instead of dessert. These wines contain between 50 and 400 grams of sugar per liter of wine. Finally, fortified wines are more alcoholic than other wines. Its fermentation process is stopped with the addition of a spirit, like a cognac. The spirit may be added after fermentation.
